EARN TEA MILES AND REWARDS

Princess Teana invites you to participate in the Tea Miles Programme - first you will need your own TEAOPOLIS PASSPORT.

All you need to create your homemade passport is a plain notebook which you can decorate with images downloaded from this website. Our suggestions are to feature the Shangers Coat of Arms on the front cover and Princess Teana on the inside front cover and add the text to describe each image as it is detailed below.

Princess Teana's Passport to Teaopolis

Coat of Arms
Princess Teana invites the bearer of this Passport to imagine the Isle of Teaopolis and travel freely within this fantasy land of tea.
The bearer (insert your name) pledges to uphold the traditions of civility, good manners, companionship and etiquette of the teatime culture.

Then leave the following pages blank until such time as you log specific entries that earn tea miles. Each entry should be supported by a photograph which can be stored elsewhere, preferably a digital picture that, should it be required, can be emailed to the Teaopolis Passport Office.

Examples of Passport entries:

January 3rd, 2005
Visited the Greenslades Seniors home and served tea and cake to Mrs Flora Sharples
200 tea miles

Signature of Witness …………….

February 1st, 2005
Awarded 100 tea miles for excellent manners at meal time.

Signature of Parent/Grown-up

……………………………………

Although the Passport is primarily for children, there is no bar whatsoever to adults holding a Teaopolis Passport. In the spirit of Teaopolis, all age groups are welcome.

The allocation of tea miles is made on an honesty basis, but here are some guidelines to match miles to good deeds, manners and acts of friendship.

100 Miles for: Happily serving tea to family members.
Baking a cake for a friend/relative.
Making cookies for a local fund-raising event.
Visiting tea rooms in your town - or indeed anywhere in the world and as always, if possible, recording your visit with a picture.
Sending your passport with a "host" to faraway places and collecting digital pictures of different locations - always with the passport in shot.

200 Miles for: Acts of generosity to those who are less fortunate.
Holding a tea party for friends, relatives, and new neighbours.
Creating /writing a tea-themed story, poem or painting.

500 Miles for: Arranging a fund-raising tea party for a worthy cause.
To mark a fine achievement at school, college, place of work, which is celebrated with the serving of tea.

1000 Miles plus:

At the discretion of the Serving Ambassador or the Central Teaopolis Passport Office allocations of 1000 miles (or more) will be made for special and extraordinary tea time events.

Suppose you take tea with a V.I.P., celebrity, The Governor of a State, a President of a country or a member of Royalty.
Any fine act of generosity that goes beyond the call of duty will always be awarded appropriately.

Keep in touch with your ideas and let us track the progress of your passport via pteana@princessteana.com.

Once you have clocked up 5000 miles, send details, listing your "honesty log" and a selection of pictures you would be happy for us to feature on this website (privacy will be upheld), and we will caption pictures with simple credits, i.e. "Diana, from Austin, Texas".

Watch out for details of rewards that will be offered to Passport holders for different achievement levels. When the first Million Miler receives their due rewards, we'll hold a grand tea party in their neighbourhood - the full works!

We look forward to truly welcoming you to the world of Teaopolis.

Oh my, it's a Teaopotomus!
